If you are looking to escape for an Easter ski holiday with the kids then you might want to consider Nendaz, over some of the busier Swiss ski resorts. The north-facing slopes of the Four Valleys offer excellent snow conditions through to the late ski season, especially as Easter falls in April this year.
From Nendaz skiers can also enjoy access to the pistes of Verbier, Thyon, Veysonnaz and Siviez, with an all-area ski lift pass. Plus there are plenty of higher ski runs of over 2000m. And for off piste you have Mont-Fort and Mont-Gelé at over 3000m, both of which provide excellent off piste and backcountry skiing.
Nendaz is an excellent family-friendly ski resort, with plenty of facilities and activities for children. On Easter Sunday, 16th April, there is an Easter bunny hunt. The Easter Bunny has lost his souvenir photos and is inviting all children to come help him find them. There will be lots of chocolate rewards for little participants!
For little beginners there are several good ski schools and a beginner’s slope. The best thing for families is the relaxed atmosphere in Nendaz. You’ll find it very laid-back compared to busy Verbier.
Less crowds, great skiing conditions and lots of family-fun this Easter at Nendaz, Switzerland.
